Version 3.5 has arrived and introduces interactive maps across the site!
On a Tube line page, e.g. the Circle Line, you'll find a map of all routes. This works with all lines and modes. You'll soon be able to filter routes and select which to show or hide from the map - useful for those with several routes such as the Overground or Elizabeth Line.
When viewing the service details page for a National Rail service (accessible by clicking on a service on the departures/arrivals pages), the service's route is now shown on a map. Hover over a location to see its name.
It's important to note that this is a work in progress still. The data we've obtained is great, but there's room for improvement: many coordinates are slightly off and some locations are missing completely. This can only be solved by manual correction, which will take a long time! Despite this, it's at a stage where we believe it's suitable for release.
A few bugs have been fixed - they will NOT be returning! Notably, a bug which caused some pinned services to disappear has been patched.
There are many more features and improvements to come - after all, the possibilities with these maps are endless! If you have any suggestions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out. Simply send us an email via [email protected].
That's all for now, but stay tuned for the latest additions and fixes!
